Cell Phone Jammer

August 21st, 2008

phone jammer
In a commanding first place with 41% of the votes we have the cell phone jammer, looks like it’s not just us who don’t like listening to other people on the phone.

I hate being stuck on a train when some idiot is yelling down a phone (for some reason callers need to shout when in confined public spaces), this nifty gadget fixes that, the Portable Cell Phone Jammer. Now if only they’d make one to work with MP3 players.

If you have ever had this happen to you-you know how annoying it is to have someone right next to you (or even 5-10 feet away) just jabbing away on there little cell phone. Your trying to talk to someone right next you and you can’t even hear them. But the funniest part about it is that the same annoying loud person can be found talking the quietest ever if you are walking next to them (like on a sidewalk). I love this new gadget. If I had it I would use it everywhere.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

August 20th, 2008

SMASH IT UP

uper Smash Bros. Brawl is unquestionably the most anticipated game to come out on Wii. After all, why play as just one Nintendo hero when you can control almost all of them? Eclipsing the popularity of classic franchises via consolidation, Brawl effectively takes everything that made Melee great and improves upon it in subtle yet effective ways.

The combat system is practically identical to the previous iteration. While this will excite hardcore fans, players who never got into Melee will find little here that will change their minds. The nunchuk/remote control option is completely serviceable, but you’re really going to want a GameCube or Classic controller to truly succeed. The sideways remote-only control scheme is a complete mess, and should only be used to put friends at a hilarious disadvantage.

Outside of alternate control options, the biggest change to core combat is the Final Smash.

The Nike Burger chomps down on juicy athletics

August 16th, 2008 by AndrewD in Wacky Gadgets

Have you ever had a burger that tasted good enough to… walk on? My guess is that even if it did taste like something you wouldn’t mind putting your feet in, the burger’s design doesn’t exactly call for an edible walking solution. But this design, on the other hand, might just be optimal for running track, and then grabbing a quick snack after your exercise just by chewing on your shoe…

Hockey Blade Curve Chart

August 17th, 2008

If you are wondering what type of curve fits best for you, you can check out the guide below. Then look at the curve name (in the chart below it) to see what’s the name of your perfect curve.

Curve is how much curve is on the blade and whether it’s at the heel or in the middle of the blade. Lie is how much of the blade is on the ice. Length is how long the blade is.A straighter blade is better for backhands, heel curves help you raise the puck (but it isn’t necessary to have a heel curve to raise it) and a middle blade curve is mostly for stick handling (if you are a winger or center, then this curve is good for you) blade length just gives you more space to handle the puck (if you are a defenseman then you want a long blade). For a defenseman a 4 or 5 lie is best because the more blade on the ice, the easier it is to stop the other players Depends a lot on your position too.
